The characteristics of Amber, the natural gem: the natural material Amber, referred to as a Sun stone, has been used throughout history for jewellery by ancient peoples. It has a warm sunny yellow or orange colour; linked with the colours of Solar Plexus and Sacral Chakra energy; i.e. radiant and flowing energy. It is not a crystal, but is actually the fossilised resin produced by trees millions of years ago, to heal damage sustained by the tree. In a thought, it connects us with history, the 'life force' of ancient trees, preserved forever in something we can touch. Unlike crystals, it is not cold but warm to touch.
