Issues in your tissues Experiencing, or even suppressing, stressful emotions and thoughts, e.g. (worry, anger, fear) tend to become fixed as tension within our physical body; e.g. rigid attitudes expressed as a stiff neck, fear or worry expressed as a headache, uptight tension expressed as tight shoulders, unexpressed emotions as a painful lower back. An interesting chef's food fact: A Lobster, when experiencing the stress of being caught in a net, floods the muscle tissue of it's tail with adrenalin, this causes the Lobster meat to become tough when eaten in a restaurant, as compared with one more humanely caught that doesn't release the adrenalin-stress hormone. Our bodies do this too when we feel caught up in stress. No wonder we get tense muscles! Sometimes we hold onto worry, anger or stress for years and years. Why not gently let it go? which is using greater energy?
Answer: the one that simply soars is using the greater energy : the natural energy found in the sky (air currents) - but with less visible effort. The bird finds the current, then remains confidently and peacefully still. The bird knows and trusts that the sky will support it. The bird simply becomes one with the sky. It's a different way of understanding energy and taking the time to be still, is one of the keys.
